Happy Halloween!

It's been a wild and crazy three years, but I wouldn't have wanted to go through it with anyone else! Happy three years Ryan! Looking forward to many more.

It was a quiet weekend while Ryan studied for finals this week. Fortunately, he is finished a week from today and will have a whole week off to hang out. Since I didn't have anything exciting to report from this weekend, I thought I would post this cute pic of Jonah in his monogrammed nightgown, so you wouldn't have to wait too long for your Jonah fix!

Ryan and Jonah had a rough day. It all seemed fine when I walked out the door to head to the office for a couple of hours. Quality boy time ..... quickly turned to angry baby that could not be soothed. We are still not sure what the problem was, but Jonah was a force to be reckoned with!

About 3 hours later, when mom walked in the door, all was right in the world again and our happy baby showed back up. I guess Jonah forgives and forgets because when Ryan was getting J in his pj's, he yelled for me to come in to his room. This is what I found: (our boy's first laugh)

Looks Who's Talking!

Ok, maybe "talking" is the wrong word! Jonah has found his voice the last couple of weeks and is enjoying his new found mode of expression. Of course, we can't get enough of it! I took several short videos of him and his BFF the star that plays music and lights up (thanks Aunt Bess). He is IN LOVE with this toy. He will lay on his activity mat, smiling, cooing and talking to the star forever. While I was videoing, I didn't realize I was sitting right at said star's eye level, which meant that I was capturing more of the lovely star music than our little guy's voice! Duh! Anyways, these are some cute video (sans star) of Jonah talking to Dad.

Two Month Stats

I know, I am over a week late! No excuses. Jonah had his two month appointment last Friday and we left with 4 shots! It's was quite traumatic, especially for Ryan and I who had to fight back the tears ourselves! The visit started out on the right foot with Dr. Levin raving about our beautiful boy. He has a special affection for Jonah and decided (I think, to disprove our skepticism) to take Jonah around the office to show his staff "the most beautiful baby in the universe!" (His words, not mine - although I agree!) Jonah does not share the same affection for Dr. Levin yet, and after about 2 minutes of being put on display, he was not happy! (he's not just a pretty object, people!)

Length: 22.5 inches

His size is sitting right in the 50% range, which we think is perfect!

It is amazing watching my little baby smile at EVERYone! Seriously, this boy gives them away for nothing! I took about 10 videos and none of them quite do it justice because I swear that kid knows when the video camera comes out. Watch how he looks back and forth between me and the camera!

The weekend has come and gone and I have no pictures to show for it! It was a beautiful day Saturday and in true family form, we took the dogs to the park for some ball-throwing time, cleaned up the house and watched some football. That evening, we bundled up (I think it hit 65!) and headed to the Italian Festival in Crestline Village where Ryan works. The festival was pretty lame, but it was nice to be out enjoying the weather and getting to see the Prentice Family!

Jonah and I went to the office today to drop off and pick up some paper work. It was his first time there and everyone was excited to see him. He was such a little flirt smiling at all the ladies! He was exhausted after all the ooohh, ahhhs and showing off. These pics are from this afternoon. Nothing special, but cute nonetheless!
