Jonah Turns 2!
After all the excitement of the beach, it was back to the real world and Jonah's 2 year check up. This was his first doctor visit since his 18 month and hasn't been sick in 2011. How lucky are we? Oh, man, did I just jinx myself!?
He checked out great and as we imagined, he is ahead on almost every milestone, especially those incredible verbal skills! His stats look like this:
Height: 35.5 in .......... 80% (I think they measured him wrong here or else he grew a ton!)
Weight: 27 lbs .......... 30%
Head: 97% still wearing that huge dome!
Since our family is scattered throughout the country, Jonah's gifts came in waves, allowing for a good 3 week-long birthday celebration! We knew we'd be getting him a ride on toy, and being slightly Cars obsessed, Mater fit the bill. Perfect! He literally screamed in joy when we gave it to him. It's been almost a month and he rarely gets off Mater, has to plug him in at night and likes to cover him with a blanket before bed.

style="font-family:arial;">Because Jonah now thinks his birthday lasts the entire month of August, he asks us to sing him Happy Birthday quite frequently. He even sings it to himself!
