Big Boy In the Bumbo
We borrowed Ben's bumbo so that Jonah could give it a try and see if he liked it. Judging from this picture, he prefers his mobility! What a goof!

Hand-me-downs
Thank goodness for hand-me-downs! I would say a solid 95% of Jonah's clothes are handed down from either his cousins or one of Ryan's sweet clients. And even sweeter, Brody ran through sizes so quick, most of his stuff looks brand new. Like this onesie:
I think Jonah is jealous he didn't get any of the Stuck boy's hair!
I should also mention Jonah is (almost) twice Brody's age in these pictures.
Ben's 2nd Brithday is Jonah's 1st Party!

Sitting Pretty
It's official ... Jonah is an assisted sitter! I know, who cares (other than me, Dad, Grandma, Aunt Bess, Papa B, etc!) It amazes me how he hits these "milestones" overnight. This weekend he was sitting up in between Ryan's legs and we were throwing the ball back and forth. He thought it was pretty cool.
The Beginning of a Beautiful Friendship!
These two have a special relationship blooming. Tilly is so interested in Jonah and you can already tell he is ready to begin chasing her around the house or throwing her ball. If Tilly is in the room, Jonah is looking for her. Sometimes when he is laying on the floor and she comes in for a sniff, he'll roll over with his arms open and try to tackle her head. In return, when we go into Jonah's room to get him out of his crib in the morning, she'll follow us in and stick her nose through the bars waiting for a pat. It's pretty entertaining. These two will be causing trouble in no time!

5 Months!
How this little guy is almost a half a year old already is a mystery! He won't go to the doctor until 6 months, so I don't have any stats, but I make up for it in pictures!
We've had big changes this past month. Besides surviving his first 14-hour car trip, Jonah has grown up so much this month. He has strong opinions about what he wants and when he wants it: toys, food, paper, Tilly .... etc! He also reaches up for us (and usually squeals) when we put our hands out to him.
As I'm sure everyone reading this knows, Jonah also started daycare this month. He is doing fantastic and is making the transition so much easier on his parents. At "school" he is known as:
Who wouldn't want to cuddle with this guy?

A cuddler
An excellent eater
An excellent sleeper (WHAT!)
Alert and perceptive
And just an all-around calm and happy guy!

Speaking of sleeping, he has made huge strides. Lately he has been sleeping from 7p -7a with one feeding around midnight. He is also taking 1 -2 hour naps at daycare. He actually slept a total of 4 hours (during the day) yesterday!

There aren't enough days in the weekend.
As if weekends weren't precious enough; with all the excitement of last week's work and daycare, now I can't get enough! Looking back on the weekend, I couldn't really tell you where the time went! We just spend lots of time keeping warm inside and getting plenty of Jonah time. On the upside, it's another week of short days for Jonah in daycare since Dad gets to pick up by 3pm everyday (jealous!) and the forecast calls for temps in the upper 50's by midweek!
Almost daily I hear that this little guy looks more and more like his Dad. Good looking fellas!
And because I finally found my battery charger to my point-and-shoot, I am able to catch some videos. Jonah has this new means of communication that is something between a squeal, a scream and a ... well, just listen for yourself! (at one point, I get a little crazy with the camera, so please note that is because Jonah and his death-grip, found the camera strap)
And a video to show how smart our little guy is, here you will see he CLEARLY knows his name! And again, please ignore Mom's squeals of excitement, I'm just a proud Mamma!
